This piece is dedicated to my best friend of eight years. The quilt is made of three blocks, the pattern is a simplified North Carolina state block (where the two of us met and are from). The green appliquéd "Yippee" on top is her favorite catch phrase. The steel frame is representative of a fire extinguisher box, but no glass is present. This is because Annie is a constant resource, always there.
